There will be no more long summer hours for Dan Litzinger and Kim Archer. The couple, who have co-owner the Rochester Honkers (Summer Collegiate, Northwoods League) since 2003, have sold the franchise to Bases Loaded Entertainment, LLC. The sale of the Honkers was approved by the league on Monday. On Tuesday, the Rochester Park Board approved the transfer of the lease for Mayo Field. Read more here.

Honkers Secure New Ballpark Lease, Hire Holtman
The Rochester Honkers (Summer Collegiate, Northwoods League) will play summer baseball at Mayo Field for at least the next five years, following a new lease agreement approved Tuesday by the city of Rochester’s Board of Park Commissioners.
