Mexican League Negotiating to Use Nueces County Ballpark
The repeatedly-abandoned Fairgrounds Field in Robstown (TX) could soon be home to a new minor league baseball team. Nueces County is in the early stages of negotiations with the Triple-A Rojos del Águila de Veracruz (Mexican Baseball League) to use the ballpark as a training facility and potentially host an indy pro team.
