Rascals Locked Out of CarShield Field
The city of O’Fallon (MO) has locked the River City Rascals (Independent Professional, Frontier League) out of the city-owned ballpark. According to a 2017 lease agreement, the Rascals owed the city $122,000. A plan was signed to pay back the debt over time but city officials say the team has not lived up to its part of the lease. Rascals to Host 2018 Frontier League All-Star Game, Unveil Logo
PRESS RELEASE – The River City Rascals have announced that the City of O’Fallon and CarShield Field have been awarded the 2018 Frontier League All-Star Game. This will be the first time in 13 years the Rascals have hosted the All-Star Game and Home Run Derby. Crosstown Rivals in the St.Louis Metro

O’Fallon Locks In Rascals Long Term After Dramatic Drop in Annual Lease Payment
The city of O’Fallon (MO) and indy pro River City Rascals (Frontier League) have agreed to a new long-term contract for the use of T.R. Hughes Ballpark. Under the deal, the Rascal’s rent will drop from $175,000 in 2012 to $50,000 in 2013. The payment will then gradually increase over the next nine years but stay below the 2012 number. Long-Term Lease Deal on Deck for Rascals
The indy pro River City Rascals (Frontier League) and the city of O’Fallon (MO) have reportedly reached a “general consensus” on a new 10-year agreement for the use of T.R. Hughes Ballpark, which would replace the current lease set to expire after the 2014 season. The new deal could result in lower lease payments and stadium improvements, including a video scoreboard and installation of artificial turf. Read more here.

Group Breaks Record for Longest Baseball Game, Raises Money for Charity
A group of 50 men from the St. Louis metro area set out last Tuesday night to play a marathon baseball game for 60-consecutive hours at T. R. Fans Flock to T.R. Hughes for Chicken Wings
Wing Ding, the chicken wing-themed celebration that has been going on for 13 years in the O’Fallen (MO) area to raise funds for BCI, an employment agency for the disabled, was held at T.R.
