As we posted a couple of weeks ago, a fan’s complaint spurred the Texas Rangers and new ballpark naming-rights partner Globe Life to change the signage at Globe Life Park, formerly Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Fan’s Complaint Leads to Globe Life Park Signage Change
After a fan’s complaint and subsequent rumblings on Facebook that Globe Life’s contemporary new signage on the outside of Globe Life Park (formerly Rangers Ballpark in Arlington) didn’t fit the stadium’s green-and-brick throwback look, the Texas Rangers and Globe Life have agreed to replace it. $12M in Renovations Well Underway at Rangers Ballpark
The Texas Rangers are knee-deep in construction at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, as the stadium is undergoing $12 million in renovations that will bring new enclosed and air conditioned fan amenities, including the 100-seat Batter’s Eye Club in center field, a two-story restaurant and sports bar with views of the field, and a Kids Zone. Rangers Might Sell Ballpark Naming Rights
The Texas Rangers are apparently considering selling the naming rights to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Quite frankly, we’re suprised it hasn’t happened already. After World Series appearances in 2010 and 2011, now is the time to maximize the opportunity. Read more here.
