Former NFL QB Joe Theisman Helps to Revive Baseball Talks in Loudoun County

Fresh attempts to bring minor league baseball to Loudoun appear to be gathering momentum. A new group, which includes former Redskins quarterback Joe Theisman is lending its support to the plans, which could finally see a stadium built in the county.  Read more here.  Are we still talking about an Atlantic League (Independent Professional) franchise?  It’s not clear.

Jaws Enters World of Baseball Field Maintenance

Jaworski Turf Solutions, a new division of Ron Jaworski Golf owned by former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and current ESPN commentator Ron Jaworski, has signed a deal with the indy pro Camden Riversharks (Atlantic League) to provide field maintenance at Campbell’s Field.  Read more here.  Thanks to John Cerone for the link.
