Preliminary site and surveying work has begun on Project Jackson, a mixed-use development situated on 30 acres near the North Augusta (SC) waterfront. City Council members voted 6-0 at a special council meeting Monday night on final reading of an ordinance authorizing the City to enter into an installment purchase agreement of up to $16 million to complete preliminary infrastructure work.
