KBO’s Kia Tigers to Open New Ballpark

Columbia’s Bull Street Development Could Include Ballpark
Columbia (SC) Mayor Steve Benjamin along with other city and business leaders announced on Tuesday a development agreement for the former Department of Mental Health property along Bull Street that could include building a new minor-league baseball stadium. Read more here and here.

Kia Tigers to Get New Stadium
The Kia Tigers from the Korea professional baseball league are slated to get a new 25,000-seat, $3 billion won (around $26 million US, we think) ballpark in Gwangju. The stadium is expected to open in 2014. Read more here.
