The summer collegiate Seacoast Mavericks (Futures Collegiate Baseball League) finished their first full season at Leary Field in Portsmouth (NH), after taking the facility and market for a six-game test spin last season. Mavericks Moving to Portsmouth
After testing the waters at Leary Field in Portsmouth (NH) for six games last season, the summer collegiate Seacoast Mavericks (Futures Collegiate Baseball League) have worked a deal to relocate the franchise from the team’s current home in Rochester (NH) to the port city. From our perspective, this is a bit of a coup, as efforts to bring a team to Portsmouth over the past decade have failed. Read more here.

Seacoast Mavericks in Portsmouth Tonight
The summer collegiate Seacoast Mavericks (Futures Collegiate Baseball League) will play the first of six games at Leary Field in Portsmouth (NH) on Friday, July 20. The Mavericks will return to Leary on July 28 for one more and August 1-4 for a four-game series. View schedule here. NECBL All-Americans Have Eye on Nashua, OOB and Portsmouth
The New England Collegiate Baseball League’s Lowell (MA) All-Americans have struggled at the gate for years, while being overshadowed by the powerhouse Single-A Lowell Spinners. The expectation was that the All-Americans would slide into Holman Stadium in Nashua (NH), now that it’s become available. Not so fast. The club is also exploring Old Orchard Beach (ME) and Portsmouth (NH). Read more here.
