Trenton Thunder to Host River Fest, Pork Roll Eating Championship

PRESS RELEASE – The team’s annual postseason event featuring the Case’s Pork Roll Eating Championship and two-time champion Joey Chestnut will be part of the competitive eating field to defend his title as Pork Roll Eating Champion of the world. Last year, Chestnut defended his title by eating 43 pork roll sandwiches in ten minutes.

PRESS RELEASE – The Thunder are pleased to announce full event details for the Trenton Thunder World Famous Case’s Pork Roll Eating Championship set to take place on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at ARM & HAMMER Park from 12-4pm. Gates will open for the inaugural event at 12pm for a festival-style atmosphere of food, beverage, entertainment and competitive eating.
