The Potomac Nationals (Single-A, Carolina League) confirmed at their Hot Stove Banquet on Sunday that the club has extended its lease to play at Pfitzner Stadium until the 2020 season. They also have the option to end the lease early if they are able to find the opportunity to move into a new stadium elsewhere. Read more here.

Fire Takes Out Front Offices at P-Nats’ Home
A fire broke out late this afternoon at Pfitzner Stadium, home of the Single-A Potomac Nationals (Carolina League), from an apparent inside gas leak. According to a fire official, the second-floor front offices were destroyed. Beyond one employee being treated for smoke inhalation, nobody else was hurt. The team is currently playing on the road. Pfitzner Stadium to Get Field Upgrades After Spat
Despite the fact that Potomac Nationals owner Art Silber is working on a new privately-funded ballpark for his Single-A, Carolina League club, Prince William County (VA) has decided to spend up to $250,000 on playing field upgrades at Pfitzner Stadium. P-Nats to Finally Get New Park?
Goodbye Pfitzner Stadium? The Single-A Potomac Nationals will hold a press conference later this month to unveil plans for a new privately-financed ballpark in Northern Virginia.
