PawSox Await Details of House Ballpark Proposal

PawSox Ballpark Deal Truly Dead?

A plan to build a new $82 million stadium for the Pawtucket Red Sox (Triple-A, International League) in Rhode Island may have won approval from the Rhode Island Senate, but House Speaker Nicholas Mattiello says the deal is “dead.”  Read more here.  In response, the PawSox have targeted the Speaker’s district with a mailer and an event to educate his constituents.  Read more here.
