Parkview Field Ranks No. 1 Fan Experience Again
Parkview Field, home of the Fort Wayne TinCaps (Single-A, Midwest League), is featured on the cover of the January issue of Stadium Journey for being ranked the number one ballpark experience in minor league baseball for the fourth consecutive year. Read more here and here.

Debating the Proposed New Ballpark in Boise, Comparisons to Fort Wayne
As previously reported, the managing partner of the Boise Hawks (Single-A, Northwest League) is poised to buy 11 acres in Downtown Boise (ID), part of which he would donate to the city for the construction of a 5,000-seat, multisport stadium and event center. The stadium would be the new home for the Hawks, revived Boise State baseball, and a soccer team. Read more here.

Parkview Field Ranked No. 1 Ballpark Experience in Minors
PRESS RELEASE – Parkview Field may soon neeed a bigger trophy case. TinCaps to Add Group Seating Area
PRESS RELEASE – Minor League Baseball’s top-rated ballpark is about to get even better. The Fort Wayne TinCaps announced at a press conference on Thursday that the team is set to add a group seating area atop Parkview Field’s Tuthill 400 Club. Ballpark Geyser Delays Game
A Single-A Fort Wayne TinCaps (Midwest League) game at Parkview Field was delayed 18 minutes, after a player sprinting to catch a foul ball ran into a sprinkler and triggered a geyser-like water blast that showered nearby fans and pitchers in the the TinCaps bullpen. Parkview Field Making the Grade
Experts can agree or disagree about the economic benefits of building a new sports facility, but everything appears to be paying off for the team and Fort Wayne (IN) taxpayers after opening $30.5 million Parkview Field, home of the Single-A Fort Wayne TinCaps (Midwest League), in 2009. Parkview Field a Model for Savannah
Hardball Capital, which owns the Single-A Savannah Sand Gnats (South Atlantic League) and Single-A Fort Wayne TinCaps (Midwest League), flew the Savannah City Council and business leaders to Fort Wayne over the weekend to tour three-year-old Parkview Field and showcase what “could be” on a portion of the Savannah River Landings site on the riverfront. Invasive Grass Forces Turf Replacement at Parkview Field
The Fort Wayne (IN) Redevelopment Commission gave initial approval on Monday to spend $90,000 of the $140,000 needed to replace the sod at Parkview Field, home of the Single-A Fort Wayne TinCaps (Midwest League), because it’s now infested with an invasive grass.
