Dodgers Raise Parking Prices (Again)

Dodgers LogoIn a news release announcing the start of single-game ticket sales, the Los Angeles Dodgers tucked this sentence into the last paragraph: “Parking at the gate day of game is $20.”  The price for the same parking was $15 last year and $10 in 2013.  Read more here.  Thanks to Joe Mock for the link.

Building Site, Parking Not a Problem for El Paso Ballpark Project, Special Meeting Today

In case anyone was wondering, the downtown six-acre site chosen for El Paso’s new 7,000-seat Triple-A ballpark is large enough to accommodate the project, according to Populous sports architect David Bower.  Parking also appears to be a non-issue, as an inventory of existing available parking shows 8,392 parking garage spaces and 1,825 metered parking spots to accommodate 30,000 people. Rangers, Former Owner in Legal Spat Over Parking (UPDATED)

The Texas Rangers are suing former owner Tom Hicks over parking at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.  Hicks, who retained control of 11,679 parking spaces around the stadium after he sold the Rangers in bankruptcy proceedings in August, has been accused of price gouging fans.  The claim seeks an injunction to prevent Hicks from charging more for parking than the prices set by Continue reading
