Feeling the Vibe at Oregon State’s Goss Stadium

Goss Stadium at Coleman Field in Corvallis (OR), home of the Oregon State Beavers baseball team, is about one-third the size of LSU’s Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge (LA).  But don’t let size fool you.  The Corvallis vibe is “unbelievable,” as one San Diego State player describes.  Read more here.  The stadium is also home of the Corvallis Knights (Summer Collegiate, West Coast League).

City Won’t Sell Parcel to Accommodate Utes’ Preferred Ballpark Orientation

Salt Lake City (UT) Mayor Jackie Biskupski informed the University of Utah on Wednesday that after hearing concerns from community members, the city won’t sell a portion of Sunnyside Park required to build the ballpark in the school’s preferred orientation.  Read more here.

University of Arizona Takes Over Management of Hi Corbett Field

A deal between the University of Arizona and the city of Tucson (AZ) will keep Hi Corbett Field open for another generation of baseball fans.  Under the 25-year agreement, the UA will take over the day-to-day management of the former spring training facility.  Read more here.

Utes Settle on Location, Two Layout Options for On-Campus Ballpark

Husky Ballpark Update

UCLA Adds Seats to Jackie Robinson Stadium
