Damaschke Field, for decades the site of baseball games and community events, will be renovated thanks to a $1 million state grant. Oneonta (NY) businessman Gary Laing expected to review the final contract for the sale of the summer collegiate Oneonta Outlaws (Perfect Game League) on Monday. He is buying the club from Keith Rogers and Dan Scaring, who relocated the franchise from Saratoga (NY) to Damaschke Field in 2010, after the Single-A Oneonta Tigers (New-York Penn League) split for Connecticut. PRESS RELEASE – PGCBL President Jeff Kunion announced this morning that the Oneonta Outlaws have joined the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League.
