Omaha’s New Ballparks: Success in 2011, All Eyes on 2012
The two new baseball stadiums in the Omaha (NE) metro had successful inaugural seasons in 2011. Now the operators of TD Ameritrade Park, home of the College World Series in downtown Omaha, and Werner Park, home of the Triple-A Omaha Storm Chasers (Pacific Coast League) in nearby Sarpy County, must focus on maintaining that momentum going into 2012. Ballpark Design Firms Sues Ramapo LDC
Omaha (NE)-based DLR Group Architecture and Engineering is suing the Ramapo (NY) Local Development Corporation for $62,061 stilled owed to the firm for designing the new ballpark for the indy pro Rockland Boulders (Can-Am League).
