Omaha’s New Ballparks: Success in 2011, All Eyes on 2012

The two new baseball stadiums in the Omaha (NE) metro had successful inaugural seasons in 2011.  Now the operators of TD Ameritrade Park, home of the College World Series in downtown Omaha, and Werner Park, home of the Triple-A Omaha Storm Chasers (Pacific Coast League) in nearby Sarpy County, must focus on maintaining that momentum going into 2012.  Read more here.

Ballpark Design Firms Sues Ramapo LDC

Indy Pro Ball Coming to Downtown Omaha?

Officials with the Metropolitan Entertainment and Convention Authority in Omaha (NE) continue to have talks with indy pro league investors to bring a team to TD Ameritrade Park, the new downtown home for the College World Series.  The Northern League appeared to be the frontrunner until the wheels came off the circuit a few weeks ago when four teams jumped to the American Association.
