5 ‘Flashback Jerseys’ to be Worn During Omaha Franchise’s 50th Season

Storm Chasers Postpone 2nd Annual “What If … Night”

Omaha Storm Chasers Secondary LogoThe force was not with the Triple-A Omaha Storm Chasers (Pacific Coast League) Saturday night, as the game and the team’s 2nd annual “What If…Night” combine with “Star Wars Night” had to be postponed because of bad weather.  When the Chasers revisit the double-themed night on August 10, the players will be donning the Omaha Force gear.  The Force was one of the finalists in the name-the-team contest in 2010.

Collateral Development Slow Around Sarpy County Ballpark

Omaha’s New Ballparks: Success in 2011, All Eyes on 2012

Alan Stein: A Lexington Living Legend

Weather Tempers Attendance at New Werner Park

While the per game average attendance (to date) for the Omaha Storm Chasers (formerly Omaha Royals) has improved from 3,258 last year at Rosenblatt Stadium to 4,179 this year at the new Werner Park, the crummy weather has certainly put a damper on the level of attendance we would expect for a Triple-A club in a new stadium.  We’ll see how things pan out when the weather warms up.  Read more here.
