The Lakewood BlueClaws (Single-A, South Atlantic League) will host Augtoberfest on Wednesday, August 31. Beyond the team sporting these stylish Bavarian-themed jerseys below, the first 1,500 fans will receive a BlueClaws beer stein. The festival will include $4 pretzels all game, a das boot drinking competition, yodeling contest, and Oktoberfest music all night long. Learn more here.

About 1,400 people enjoyed beer and brats last night at Recreation Park, home of the Single-A Visalia Rawhide (California League), for Visalia’s 2011 Oktoberfest celebration.
