With about 14,000 Walmart shareholders converging on Bentonville (AR) for the company’s annual shareholders meeting Friday, the Double-A Northwest Arkansas Naturals (Texas League) in nearby Springdale saw an attendance bump at Arvest Park from 3,075 Wednesday to 6,393 Thursday. The Double-A Northwest Arkansas Naturals (Texas League) will take a look at what life might have been like tonight as the “Thunder Chickens,” which was the runner up in the name-the-team contest in 2007. The team will don special Thunder Chickens jerseys, which will be auctioned off during the game.
