Hartford Whalers (NHL) Alumni Weekend Begins Tonight
The Hartford Yard Goats (Double-A, Eastern League) will pay homage to the former Hartford Whalers (NHL) Friday-Sunday with a Whalers alumni weekend extravaganza. Coors Field, Target Field in Running for Outdoor NHL Games?
This NHL is expected to announced this weekend during the All-Star Game in Columbus (OH) that the Colorado Avalanche and Minnesota Wild will host outdoor games next season. NHL Wraps Up Outdoor Hockey Series at Yankees Stadium
The 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series wrapped up at Yankee Stadium Wednesday night, as the NHL’s New York Rangers defeated the New York Islanders 2-1. Just four days earlier on Sunday afternoon, the Rangers beat New Jersey Devils 7-3 at the famous ballpark. A total of 100,132 fans attended the two games. Read more and view photo here.

Despite High Temps, Ready for NHL Hockey (and KISS) at Dodger Stadium
The temps in Los Angeles have been about 20 degrees above normal for this time of year, but the NHL rink at Dodger Stadium is ready for Saturday night’s game between the L.A. Kings and Anaheim Ducks. Nassau Co. Referendum Would Tie NHL, Atlantic League Projects Together
