City Buys Ballpark Boardwalk Naming Rights
The City of Conway (SC) will spend $500,000 on naming rights for the boardwalk at Coastal Carolina University’s new baseball stadium. As part of the arrangement, the “City of Conway Boardwalk” will feature signage and carefully placed QR codes, labels smart phone users can scan to find a website about attractions and dining in downtown Conway. City officials aren’t talking, but there is speculation that the “major announcement” scheduled for next Tuesday afternoon, May 13, has to do with naming rights for Hillsboro Ballpark, home of the Single-A Hillsboro Hops (Northwest League). Read more here.

Ramapo Ballpark Naming Rights Announcement Set for Tuesday
A deal has apparently been struck with Provident Bank to name the new ballpark in Ramapo (NY). A press conference has been scheduled for Tuesay, May 17, at 11:00 a.m. Provident Bank CEO George Strayton, Ramapo Supervisor Christopher St. Lawrence, and Rockland Boulders President Ken Lehner are expected to attend.
