Start-Up MRPBL Targets Whitefish

Glacier Grizzlies MRPBL Logo An start-up Mount Rainier Professional Baseball League has reportedly reached a tentative agreement to bring a franchise to Whitefish (MT) (pop. 6,649) next spring.  The team will be called the Glacier Grizzlies and will play at Memorial Park.  Read more here.  Meanwhile, the RMPBL has hired long-time coach Bob Lockman to serve as the Grizzlies GM.  Read more here.
