Mr. Baseball to Receive Makeover, Other Improvements Coming to Greater Nevada Field

PRESS RELEASE – In addition to the new Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) video displays coming to Greater Nevada Field, the field will feature a new Mr. Baseball, new wall pads, a third art mural, new artwork in the suite level from the Sierra Arts Foundation, and the return of celebratory strobe lights on the right-field berm, the Reno Aces and Reno 1868 FC announced today.

Brewers Unveil Uecker Statue

The Milwaukee Brewers dedicated a new 7-foot-tall bronze statue of beloved player and broadcaster Bob “Mr. Baseball” Uecker during a ceremony outside Miller Park Friday.  The “Ueck” joins three others outside the main gates, including statutes honoring Hall of Famers Hank Aaron and Robin Yount, and Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig.  Read more and view video here.

‘Mr. Baseball’ to be Honored Outside Miller Park

The Milwaukee Brewers announced on Wednesday that former MLB player and Brewers broadcaster Bob “Mr. Baseball” Uecker will be honored with his own statue to be located near Miller Park’s Home Plate Plaza.  Read more here.  Enjoy an old Uecker commercial here.
