Ranking All 30 MLB Ballparks by Building Only

Tim Newcomb of Popular Mechanics has ranked all 30 Major League Baseball Parks in a recent post, “based solely on the buildings.”  We don’t think there will be much for big surprises here, at least at the top, for most ballpark tourists, but it’s worth a quick read.  Read more here.

Billy Joel to Play Six MLB Ballparks

billy-joel-glass-housesOnce again, “Piano Man” Billy Joel will play select dates in Major League Baseball stadiums across the U.S.  The announced dates and locations are as follows:

April 28 — The new SunTrust Park, Atlanta/Cumberland (GA)
May 13 — Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles (CA)
July 14 — Progressive Field, Cleveland (OH)
Aug. 11 — Wrigley Field, Chicago (IL)
Aug. 30 — Fenway Park, Boston (MA)
Sept. 9 — Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia (PA)
