The start-up Expedition League (Summer Collegiate) has added Minot (ND) to its inaugural season lineup.  The team will be called the Souris Valley Aviators, Sabre Dogs, Warbirds or Wingmen, and will begin play at Corbett Field in May 2018.  Read more here.

The start-up Expedition League (Summer Collegiate) has officially added Minot (ND) to their 2018 inaugural season lineup.  The team will play at Corbett Field.  As you might recall, ballpark hosted the Minot Mallards (Independent Professional, Prairie League) from 1995-1997.  Read more here.

Minneapolis-based businessman Steve Wagner, who was recently in Columbus (NE) to pitch his proposed Expedition League, has been trolling the Dakotas for potential ballparks and markets, including Astoria Field in Dickinson (ND) and Kraft Field in Grand Forks (ND).  Read more here.
