BlueClaws Announce 2018 Ballpark Improvements

PRESS RELEASE – As the BlueClaws embark on a new season of fun at the Jersey Shore, several exciting additions are coming to FirstEnergy Park! The team unveiled an ambitious multi-year re-development plan for a series of family & fan enhancements, the first major series of renovations since the ballpark opened in 2001. The 2018 phase of the plan includes both a miniature golf course and boardwalk attractions, both games and food options, around the outfield concourse.

‘BoulderBirdies’ Mini-Golf Course Coming to Palisades Credit Union Park

The Rockland Boulders (Independent Professional, Can-Am League) have announced that a nine-hole mini-golf course, known as “BoulderBirdies” will be built at Palisades Credit Union Park for the 2017 season.  Read more and view photos here.  Thanks to John Cerone for the news.

Mini Golf at Lugnuts Ballpark

The field at Cooley Law School Stadium, home of the Lansing Lugnuts (Single-A, Midwest League), has been transformed into a unique 18-hole mini golf course ahead of renovations to the field.  Read more here.

The Mini Golf Course at Kauffman Stadium

Slow baseball news day?  For those who have never visited Kauffman Stadium, home of the ALCS champion Kansas City Royals, check out the five-hole, baseball-themed putt-putt golf course that might give a few baseball team owners/operators ideas for creating extra fun (or distractions, based on your baseball purity) at the ballpark.  Read more and see photos here.

The Links at Fifth Third Field

PRESS RELEASE – Fifth Third Field is going to the birdies this fall! Before the ballpark gets made into an outdoor hockey rink for Walleye Winterfest, presented by ProMedica, it will become an 18-hole miniature golf course! The Links at Fifth Third Field, presented by Hall of Framers & Meyer Hill Lynch, opens to the public September 25-28.

Squirrels Adding Mini-Golf Course

The Double-A Richmond Flying Squirrels (Eastern League) are building a miniature golf course outside of the first-base side of The Diamond.  The nine-hole setup is being constructed in a 56-feet-by-39-feet area.  Read more here.
