The Wendt brother launched the indy pro Mid-Missouri Mavericks (Frontier League) back in 2003, but the Columbia (MO)-based franchise lasted just three seasons. The team played at the University of Missouri’s Taylor Stadium. Read more here.

Taylor Stadium Makeover Update
Construction continues on improvements to Taylor Stadium, home of the University of Missouri Tigers. Before next season, the facility will have improved field drainage, and a new locker room and clubhouse. Read more here. View photo gallery here. As a side note, the stadium served as the home of the indy pro Mid-Missouri Mavericks (Frontier League) from 2003-2005.
