Jeter Secures Win to Remove Marlins Home Run Sculpture

Marlins Park Legal Drama Begins Today

Could Marlins’ Home Run Sculpture be Removed Under New Ownership?

Jeffrey Loria has reportedly agreed to sell the Miami Marlins to a group fronted by former New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter.  With the smoke clearing, more information about the new group and its plans are surfacing, including the possibility that the mechanical home run sculpture in left-center field could be removed.  Read more here.

Despite Hosting MLB All-Star Game, Florida Teams Struggling for Fans

Miami Stadium Site to Receive Historical Marker

Marlins to Erect Statue of Jose Fernandez

Late Miami Marlins ace Jose Fernandez will be permanently memorialized in a 9-to-10-foot bronze statue outside Marlins Park later this year, team president David Samson said Thursday.  Read more here.
