Statue in the Works for Coca-Cola Field

Funds are currently being raised to erect a nifty six-foot memorial statue outside Coca-Cola Field, home of the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons (International League), of the late Mayor James D. Griffin throwing out a first pitch.  The four-term chief executive was instrumental in getting the stadium built more than two decades ago.  Read more here.  View rendering here.  Thanks to John Cerone for the story.
