The Fifth Third Burger made famous by the Single-A West Michigan Whitecaps (Midwest League) has been named the “worst oversized burger” on Yahoo! Health’s 21 Best and Worst Burgers list.  Because this designation is all about calories, fat and sodium content, and not taste, we are certain the Whitecaps are wearing this like a badge of honor.  Read more here.

A new 5 1/2-pound, $35 burger will makes its debut this season at the new Cheney Stadium, home of the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers.  It consists of four (4) ½-pound hamburger patties stacked double high, married with (8) slices of cheese, eight (8) slices of bacon, (8) slices of tomato, all topped off with a mound of blue cheese coleslaw on a one-pound ciabatta loaf.  You’ve been challenged, Adam Richman!
