Malden Ballpark Project Delayed
Alex Bok, chief executive officer of Boston Baseball Field of Dreams LLC, the development group proposing to build a new $50 million, 6,372-seat stadium on the former National Grid gas distribution site in Malden (MA) for an expansion indy pro Atlantic League franchise, says negotiations are taking longer than expected, which could delay the park’s opening until April 2015. Group Gunning for New Malden (MA) Stadium, Team
Boston Field of Dreams, a group of private invstors led by Alexander Bok, is exploring a site at the edge of Malden Center in Malden (MA) for a new $30-$35 million, 6,000-seat, privately funded ballpark for a new indy pro club. Interestingly, Malden is a mere 10 miles from Lynn and old Fraser Field. Read more here.
