State Senator Joins Bandits Ownership Group

PRESS RELEASE – In the midst of the most successful run in Quad Cities baseball history, the River Bandits and Main Street Baseball today announced a change in the ownership of the Quad Cities River Bandits. Iowa State Senator Roby Smith has joined managing partner Dave Heller as owners of the team.

With a letter of “non-disapproval” from Major League Baseball in hand, Dave Heller officially became the new owner of the Lowell Spinners (Single-A, New York-Penn League) on Tuesday.  Read more here.

Lowell Spinners (Single-A, New York-Penn League) owner Drew Weber has reportedly signed a purchase-and-sale agreement to sell the team to Dave Heller of Main Street Baseball LLC.  Read more here.

New Team Owners Will Bring Improvements to Dehler Park

No specific plan has been unveiled yet, but the new owners of the Rookie-level Billings Mustangs (Pioneer League) will work to make Dehler Park better, including enhancing the park’s group area and growing food services.  Read more here.

Clark Minker & Main Street Baseball Purchase Blue Rocks

PRESS RELEASE – Clark Minker, Main Street Baseball, LLC, and the Wilmington (Del.) Blue Rocks jointly announced today that the two have purchased the Blue Rocks, the Class-A Advanced Carolina League affiliate of the American League Champion Kansas City Royals.

Main Street Baseball Purchases Billings Mustangs

PRESS RELEASE – Main Street Baseball, LLC, has purchased the Billings Mustangs, the rookie-level Pioneer League affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. The ownership group and team will make a formal announcement at 3:00 pm mountain time this afternoon at Dehler Park.
