Bibb County (GA) leaders took a tour of historic Luther Williams Field Thursday to see the new plans for their $2.5 million renovations. The project will update 10 areas in the stadium, starting at the entrance. Macon-Bibb County Approves $50K for Ballpark Feasibility Study
By a narrow 5-4 vote, the Macon-Bibb County Commission on Tuesday approved spending $50,000 for a feasibility study to determine if the city can support a new ballpark and a minor league baseball team. Washington, D.C.-based Brailsford & Dunlavey will complete a market analysis and economic feasibility study, which will take about 10 weeks to complete. Read more here. Watch news report here.
