Lowell Spinners Hire Chris Taylor as Assistant General Manager

Spinners Extend Ballpark Lease

PRESS RELEASE – The Lowell Spinners, short season affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, are proud to announce that they will be staying at LeLacheur Park after having signed a 10-year lease extension with the city of Lowell. Spinners’ owner Dave Heller made the announcement on the field prior to the first game of the season. The previous lease was signed in 2009 and set to expire after the 2018 season.

The Gator Gondola is officially open to the public. The ride will debut on Thursday, July 28th, as the team kicks off a three-game home stand with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 pm.

Reflecting On 19 Years of Weber Family Ownership of Spinners

Having sold a clothing business in Manhattan that had been in the Weber family for three generations, Drew and Joann were ready to do something crazy and fun.
