The Lowell Spinners (Single-A, New York-Penn League) on Sunday will not only let dogs into LeLacheur Park for “Bark in the Park” night, but the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a unique 20-card set of Doggy Baseball Cards featuring local pooches. PRESS RELEASE – The Lowell Spinners, short season affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, are proud to announce that they will be staying at LeLacheur Park after having signed a 10-year lease extension with the city of Lowell. Spinners’ owner Dave Heller made the announcement on the field prior to the first game of the season. The previous lease was signed in 2009 and set to expire after the 2018 season. Continue reading
