Chinooks Complete Inaugural Home Stand
The summer collegiate Lakeshore Chinooks (Northwoods League) finished their inaugural five-game home stand Friday night averaging 1,172 at the new Kapco Park on the campus of Concordia University in Mequon (WI). That’s good enough for the middle of the pack of the 16-team league. As the franchise gets its footing, we expect “reel”ly thrilled part owner Robin Yount and company to grow the gate.

Fans have until May 1 to choose the name for the new mascot for the expansion summer collegiate Lakshore Chinooks (Northwoods League). You have three choices, including Gill, King, or Sammy. Yount, Uecker Team Up to Bring ‘Lakeshore Chinooks’ to Mequon (WI)
Milwaukee Brewers Hall of Famer Robin Yount and Brewers announcer Bob “Mr. Baseball” Uecker have joined with majority owner Jim Kacmarcik and nine others to launch the summer collegiate Northwoods League’s expansion Lakeshore Chinooks.
