NECBL Adds Hartford (VT) to 2016 Lineup

NECBL Expansion to Lebanon (NH) Delayed Until 2015

Muskrats’ Owners Look to Add Second Franchise

NECBL LogoThe owners of the summer collegiate Laconia Muskrats (New England Collegiate Baseball League) are looking to launch a second franchise in Lebanon (NH), if an outfield-fence problem at the targeted field can be worked out with Lebanon High School.  Alternative options are also being explored in nearby Hartford and Norwich (VT).  The owners face a Nov. 1 league deadline to finalize field plans.  Read more here.

Muskrats Unveil 2013 All-Star Game Logo

Muskrats to Host All-Star Game

Laconia Muskrats LogoThe summer collegiate Laconia Muskrats (New England Collegiate Baseball League) will host the 2013 NECBL All-Star Game on July 21, 2013.  As an interesting side note, you might recall that the Muskrats installed a 17 foot tall by 88 feet long replica of Fenway Park’s Green Monster at Robbie Mills Field last season.  The second phase of the project to be completed before next season will include adding a viewing deck to the back of the wall.  Read more here.

Muskrats Add a Replica Green Monster, Party Deck to Field

PRESS RELEASE – The Laconia Muskrats are excited to announce the construction of a replica Green Monster that will be added to Robbie Mills Field in time for Opening Day. On Deck with the Muskrats

The summer collegiate Laconia Muskrats (New England Collegiate Baseball League) have launched their own television show called “On Deck with the Muskrats” through the local public access channels in New Hampshire.  At present, the show airs on LRPA TV in Laconia, PB Cam in Plymouth, and Bristol/Newfound TV.  It can also be viewed through the team’s website and YouTube channel.

No Beer (Yet) for Muskrats

The two-year-old summer collegiate Laconia Muskrats (New England Collegiate Baseball League) made a pitch for selling beer at Robbie Mills Sports Complex, but Parks and Recreation Commissioner George Hawkins couldn’t get a second to his motion on Tuesday to allow the team to sell suds.  Read more here.

Inaugural Muskrats Expect to Return in 2011

Muskrats Gearing Up for Inaugural Home Opener

The Laconia (NH) Muskrats, the NECBL’s newest team, still have plenty of work to do before their inaugural home opener against the Sanford (ME) Mainers on June 4, but everything appears to be coming together.  The $200,000 makeover of Robbie Mills Field is near completion, and team branded caps and t-shirts are available on the club’s website.  The name of the mascot is also expected to be announced soon.  Read more here.
