Baseball is Back at Rathert Stadium

Junction City BrigadeAt a press conference Tuesday, Junction City (KS) Community Baseball Inc. President Cecil Aska announced that the new summer collegiate Junction City Brigade will begin play at historic Rathert Stadium starting this summer.  The summer collegiate Junction City Generals went on indefinite hiatus after the 2010 season.  Read more here.

Bringing Baseball Back to Junction City

Junction City (KS) commissioner Cecil Aska is among a number of local folks working to bring a summer collegiate baseball team back to Junction City in time for the 2013 season.  Read more here.  As you might recall, the independent summer collegiate Junction City (KS) Generals played four seasons at historic Rathert Stadium before shutting down before the 2011 season.
