Blind Teen Sports Announcer Gets Called Up to the Minors

In the cool, feel good story of the week, 14-year-old Jonathan Welscott, a blind sports announcer who has called middle school and high school games over the past two years, was given the opportunity to announce the batters during the third inning of the game between the Single-A West Michigan Whitecaps and Lansing Lugnuts on Friday night at Fifth Third Field.  Read more here.
