John Wilcox, part owner of the Single-A West Virginia Power (South Atlantic League), plans to launch the summer collegiate Mooresville Spinners (Carolina-Virginia Collegiate League) in Mooresville (NC), about 30 miles north of Charlotte. The team will play at Moor Park baseball field after Wilcox spends $75,000 in improving the facility. Read more here.
