2016 Most Influential Canadians in Baseball

canadian-baseball-network-logoThe annual list of the 101 most influential Canadians in baseball has been released.  A few notables include Farhan Zaidi, general manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers at #4,  John Ircandia, managing director of the Okotoks Dawgs (Summer Collegiate, Western Major Baseball League) at #18, and Jim Swanson, managing partner of the Victoria HarbourCats (Summer Collegiate, West Coast League), making his debut on the list at #76.  Read more here.

The 100 Most Influential Canadians in Baseball

Baseball Canada LogoThe sixth annual list of the 100 most influential Canadians in baseball has been released.  A few notables include (#1) Paul Beeston, president and CEO of the Toronto Blue Jays, (#28) John Ircandia, managing director of the summer collegiate Okotoks Dawgs (Western Major Baseball League), and (#62) Jake Kerr, managing partner and principle owner of the Single-A Vancouver Canadians (Northwest League).  Read more here.

Top 100: The Most Influential Canadians in Baseball

The Toronto Sun’s Bob Elliott has posted his annual list of the “Top 100 Most Infuential Canadians in Baseball.”  Coming in at #1 is Greg Hamilton, head coach and director of the national teams for Baseball Canada.  Our friend John Ircandia, managing partner for the summer collegiate Okotoks Dawgs (Western Major Baseball League), comes in at a very impressive #24.  Congrats to John.
