Vancouver Canadians Ownership to Purchase Lancaster JetHawks

PRESS RELEASE – The Lancaster JetHawks, class A affiliate of the Houston Astros, have intended to be sold by Peter A. Carfagna‘s ownership group to an ownership group headed by Jake Kerr and Jeff Mooney, both Vancouver, Canada residents and owners of the successful Vancouver Canadians, short-season affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays a member of the Northwest League.

The sixth annual list of the 100 most influential Canadians in baseball has been released.  A few notables include (#1) Paul Beeston, president and CEO of the Toronto Blue Jays, (#28) John Ircandia, managing director of the summer collegiate Okotoks Dawgs (Western Major Baseball League), and (#62) Jake Kerr, managing partner and principle owner of the Single-A Vancouver Canadians (Northwest League).  Read more here.
