Entrepreneur Tim Bennett, who is conducting a research study into the feasibility of building a new 4,000-seat baseball stadium in Jackson (MS) for college and other amateur teams, said the city of Jackson has yet to execute the $25,000 contract it approved on Dec. 2. Still, Bennett plans to present his preliminary findings to the mayor and the council before the end of the month. Read more here.

Jackson to Fund Ballpark Feasibility Study
The Jackson (MS) City Council authorized a contract Tuesday morning for entrepreneur Tim Bennett to conduct a study regarding the feasibility of building a new 4,000-seat collegiate baseball stadium in Jackson.
