Gay Fan Night Stirs Controversy
After a little heat, the Single-A Inland Empire (San Bernardino, CA) 66ers denied that the “Out at the Ballpark” promotion at Arrowhead Credit Union Park last night was an official team-sanctioned event, despite the reality that the flyer distributed by local gay and lesbian groups was created and promoted by Joey Seymour, the team’s director of ticket operations.
