Ongoing Upgrades at Victory Field

Suite holders at Victory Field, home of the Indianapolis Indians (Triple-A, International League), will be treated this season to a major renovation of the private rooms as part of an ongoing $6 million upgrade to the aging ballpark.  $2 million was spent to renovate 24 of the 29 suites.  Another $2 million is expected to be spent next year to possibly offer new seating options in an area behind home plate near the press box.  Read more here.

Indians Announce Victory Field Upgrades for 2017

PRESS RELEASE – After celebrating 20 seasons at Victory Field in 2016, the Indianapolis Indians will begin the next 20 with an infusion of modern technology. Tribe Named Triple-A Freitas Winners

PRESS RELEASE – Baseball America has named the Indianapolis Indians as the Triple-A recipient of the 2013 Bob Freitas Award, which is presented to the organization with the best overall operations at each level of Minor League Baseball. The Indians will accept the award at baseball’s annual Winter Meetings on Monday, Dec. 9 in Orlando, Fla.

Stadium Living at Old Indianapolis Ballpark Proves Popular

Historic Ballpark’s Art Deco Facade to Be Preserved

Bush Stadium, the former home of the Triple-A Indianapolis Indians, is now expected to be converted into an apartment complex with office space, after literally serving as a junk yard for old cars.  Under the plan, the stadium would be leveled, except for the facility’s historic art deco facade.  A formal announcement has been scheduled for June 16.  Read more and view photos here.
