The former site of the American Countryside Farmers Market at State Road 19 and County Road 26 in Elkhart County (IN) will be the location for the new $6.6 million ballpark for the Elkhart County Miracle from the revived indy pro Northern League. A grand opening was held last Friday for Oil City Stadium, a new 1,100-seat brick ballpark in Whiting (IN). The ballpark will serve as the home for Whiting High School and Calumet College of St. Joseph, but other leagues have reportedly expressed interest in using the ballpark.
