Barnstormers Ask County for Help Paying Lease

The owner of the Lancaster Barnstormers (Independent Professional, Atlantic League), enduring heavy losses, is asking Lancaster County to help pay its rent at Clipper Magazine Stadium.  But the county would get repaid in full by 2034, according to a proposal by Lancaster Baseball LLC.  Read more here.

Northern League, Golden League Announce All-Star Game

PRESS RELEASE – The brightest stars of the Northern League of Professional Baseball and the Golden Baseball League will square off in an interleague All-Star Game each of the next two seasons, it was announced today at the annual Baseball Winter Meetings.
