Council Approves Deal to Manage All Non-Baseball Events at Ripken Stadium

The Aberdeen (MD) City Council approved an agreement Monday night to have Huntley Sports Group manage all non-baseball events at the city-owned Ripken Stadium, effective immediately.  Read more here.

Aberdeen Working to Develop and Finalize Stadium Management Agreement, IRS Compliance an Issue

Aberdeen (MD) City Council members hope to have an agreement in place “sooner rather than later” for management of Ripken Stadium, home of the Aberdeen IronBirds (Single-A, New York-Penn League), for this year and beyond, the city’s mayor said.  This could happen as early as the next city council meeting on Feb. 12.  Read more here.

IronBirds Hopeful for Long-Term Resolution of Ballpark Issues

No Deal Yet to Manage Non-Baseball Events at Ripken Stadium
