The final development plans for the first phase of the Hudson Gateway redevelopment at the former St. Croix Meadows Dog Track in Hudson (WI) were approved last summer, but after a year the city needed to approve the plans again. Plans for a new ballpark to house the coming St. Croix River Hounds (Summer Collegiate, Northwoods League) have not changed. The team will begin play next season. Read more here.
After months of anticipation, the sale has been finalized on the old St. Croix Meadows dog track site in Hudson (WI). The land sat idle for more than a decade and will now be redeveloped into a new project that will feature a baseball stadium for the new St. Croix River Hounds (Summer Collegiate, Northwoods League), brewery, restaurants, office space and more. A Northwoods League (Summer Collegiate) baseball franchise is coming to Hudson (WI) next year needs a name, and it wants the Hudson community to help. The St. Croix team’s home will be at the new stadium being built as part of the redevelopment of the old St. Croix Meadows Dog Track on Carmichael Road. Read more and view renderings here.
