267-Room Hotel Coming to New Summerlin Ballpark Complex, New Team Branding Coming Saturday
Summerlin (NV) developer Howard Hughes Corp. has laid out plans for a 14-story, 267-room hotel just south of the new ballpark currently under construction for the soon-to-be-renamed Las Vegas 51s (Triple-A, Pacific Coast League). The 4.3-acre project, on Pavilion Center Drive across from the company’s open-air Downtown Summerlin mall, would include a restaurant, rooftop bar and spa. Read more and see photo here. Topping-Off Ceremony Held for Vegas-Area Ballpark
A topping off ceremony took place for the Las Vegas Ballpark at Downtown Summerlin (NV), just south of City National Arena Thursday. The ceremony marked the construction progress and recognizes the 200 workers construction workers on the Howard Hughes Corporation project. Read more here.

Las Vegas Ballpark Groundbreaking Set for Feb. 23
The Howard Hughes Corporation will break ground on the new, $150-million ballpark in Summerlin (NV) for the Las Vegas 51s (Triple-A, Pacific Coast League) on Feb. 23. Read more here. The ballpark will be located near City National Arena, the practice facility for the NHL’s Las Vegas Golden Knights.
Howard Hughes Corp. to Build New Summerlin Ballpark for 51s
Howard Hughes Corp., which acquired a controlling ownership interest in the Las Vegas 51s (Triple-A, Pacific Coast League) earlier this year, announced plans to build a 10,000-seat ballpark in downtown Summerlin (NV) that will break ground by early 2018 and be ready for the 2019 season. Las Vegas 51s Sold, New Stadium on Deck
The Summerlin Las Vegas Baseball Club LLC, a joint venture of the Howard Hughes Corp. and Play Ball Owners Group, announced Monday that they have completed the purchase of the Triple-A Las Vegas 51s (Pacific Coast league) and plan to move the club from downtown to a new stadium to be built in the Las Vegas suburb of Summerlin.
